ADSS-CORONA Coils are designed and manufactured to be used only with Dead-ends or Suspensions manufactured by Preformed Line Products. They should NOT be used with other dead-end or suspension devices.

Installation:

The Corona Suppression Coil section is centered over the ends of the metal rods for maximum stress reduction. The unit is secured in place by wrapping the unique gripping section directly over the Structural Reinforcing Rods of a dead-end and suspension. They will not interfere with the performance of the dead-end or the suspension.

They may be installed at the time of the original dead-end or suspension installation or are easily add ed later if desired. They can be quickly installed by hand or with conventional hot sticks.

Product Reuse:

Do not reuse ADSS-CORONA Coils once permanently installed. They may be re moved and positioned during the initial installation.
