ADSS OPGW Spiral Vibration Damper
Spiral Vibration Dampers have a helically formed damping section sized for interplay of damper and cable to provide the action/reaction motion that opposed the natural vibration wave. A smaller gripping section gently grips the cable so that cable and fiber are not damaged or distorted and there is no optical signal loss. These PVC Spiral dampers are recommended for the ADSS cable when the combination of span length and tension indicate by vibration review that external vibration protection is required.

Spiral Vibration dampers are designed to control vibration on ADSS or small diameter conductors (including OPGW).

Vibration dampers do not dissipate energy, but control vibration to disrupt vibration build up, by impacting on the cable or the conductor;
Preformed design can hold the cable tightly without affecting the attenuation of the fibers in the cable.

For ADSS used in the transmission lines with voltage higher than 110kV, we can provide anti-E corrosion type;
Using a high impact strength, UV resistant plastic. They are suitable for use in all environments, and may be used for conductor temperatures up to 75℃;
