ADSS OPGW Vibration Damper

Vibration Dampers work to cancel damaging fatigue caused by wind-induced vibration.Most tuned damping devices operate best near their natural frequencies. vibration dampers are designed for efficient transfer and dissipation of energy over a wide spec_x005ftrum of frequencies. They feature all aluminum clamp construction to match expansion/contraction of conductor and break-away bolts for easy installation and proper torque.

Anti-vibration hammer is designed to reduce the vibration of the wire due to wind pull. The pole position of high voltage overhead line is high and the gap is large. When the wire is subjected to wind force, it will vibrate. When the conductor vibrates, the working condition of the conductor suspension is the most unfavorable. Due to multiple vibrations, the conductor will suffer fatigue failure due to periodic bending. When the overhead line spacing is greater than 120 meters, anti-vibration hammer is generally used to prevent vibration.

The overhead power lines are affected by wind, ice, low temperature and other meteorological conditions, which make the lines vibrate and move. The vibration frequency is high and the amplitude is small, and the wind vibration makes the overhead wire bend repeatedly at the hanging point, causing material fatigue, and then leading to broken strands and broken wires.
