ADSS OPGW Aluminium Alloy Corona Ring Coil
When the ADSS cable is set up on the same pole in the transmission line with the voltage class above 110V, the cable is at a higher spatial potential, which poses a threat to the safe operation of the cable. The reason is caused by corona at the end of pretwisted wire fittings.
The anti-halo ring improves the electric field condition at the end of the pre-stranded wire fittings, and can increase the corona voltage by more than twice.
The reason is caused by corona at the end of pretwisted wire fittings. Usage:
1. It is used to improve the interference to the safe operation of the optical cable caused by the corona at the end of the optical cable installation equipment when the transmission lines of the voltage level above 110kV of ADSS optical cable are erected with the same pole.
2.each set of stretch-resistant gold install 1 anti-halo ring, each set of pendant gold install 2 anti-halo rings.
Installation of the corona suppression ring: determine the installation position of the corona suppression ring, hold the clamping section of the corona suppression ring, start from the end of the corona suppression ring, and wrap the corona suppression ring. Gently slide the corona suppression ring along the cable so that the pre-stranded end of the cable overhang/tensioning clip is in the space formed by the corona suppression ring. Wrap the clamping section of the corona suppression ring so that it is tightly gripped.
Slip the opening in the coil section on the ADSS cable, and rotate the coil until the cable is completely inside the coil section.
ADSS-CORONA Coils are intended to reduce electrical stress at the ends of the metal rods of FIBERLIGN Dielectric Dead-ends and Suspensions applied on ADSS cables installed in high voltage electrical fields.
