The anti-vibration hammer is a protective device used to prevent the breeze vibration of the wire on the overhead high-voltage transmission line. When the overhead wire is subjected to the effect of the wind perpendicular to the line direction, the overhead wire will produce periodic oscillation in its vertical plane, and long-term use will cause damage to the overhead line. However, on the high-voltage wire, the long-term swing and other reasons cause the anti-vibration hammer to slip along the wire, deviate from the standard position of the anti-vibration hammer, lose the effect of the anti-vibration hammer, and seriously wear the wire. The anti-vibration hammer comprises a hammer head, a steel strand and a wire clamp.

The anti-vibration hammer can not be directly installed on the ADSS/OPGW cable, the installation position of the anti-vibration hammer is also standard, and the ideal installation position can be selected at the "crest", which can make the maximum amplitude of the up and down swing, and can play the role of consumption of maximum vibration energy. It should be noted that the anti-vibration hammer should naturally sag on the line, the hammer head and the wire should be parallel, and the hammer head and the hanging plate should be a plane.
